VFD Media June Playlist: What We're Listening to this Month

June 6, 2013

At VFD Marketing, music is an integral part of our everyday life. The fight to control what's being played throughout the office can be vicious and cruel, but ultimately it leads to more productivity, as the first person into the office has control until the first coffee break. With that being said, here's what some of the VFD employees have been enjoying this month:

Elie Deshe

Eric Prydz - Live at Coachella: The Swedish master DJ and producer was the closing act of the EDM tent at both weekends of this years' Coachella music festival in Indio, California.  Prydz will be travelling around the US all summer and is definitely one to be seen.  His sets are a non-stop driving mix that works perfectly in the VFD office. It's not too overpowering, but also provides a constantly moving bass line that keeps productivity up.

Anton Gurevich

Fifteenth - Yesterday: “Do you remember me from yesterday?” – Well, I had the privilege to ask this question once or twice in my life. Unfortunately, no girl has ever said “yes”. Fifteenth’ “Yesterday” (released under Fool’s Gold Records) is a super-sweet track that will get you humming “Do you remember me from yesterday?” even if the only thing you did last night was watching the Game of Thrones. The radio edit is full of summer-friendly funk grooves, addictive synths, and a bit of Daft Punk déjà vu that sounds just as good. Enjoy!

John Fosco

Best of Gangstarr: Classic hip-hop from one of the best lyricists of all time, Guru. Not much more needs to be said.
