With the 2016 NA LCS Spring Split drawing to its conclusion, it appears that the script is still intact for this split’s storybook finals matchup.

The star-studded lineup of Team Solo Mid will face off against Counter Logic Gaming, whose roster is a combination of veteran players and arguably unproven players in Stixxay and Huhi looking to solidify their position as top players in North America.

This matchup brings together two teams who are no strangers to thrilling games and diverse strategical play. TSM, off their surprisingly clean sweep of the favorite Immortals, are looking to win their fourth NALCS title and get revenge on rival CLG, who are looking for a repeat after their first ever LCS title from summer 2015.

Both CLG and TSM are quite used to 5 game slugfests. But CLG looks to be a little disadvantaged with 2 players who are still relatively new to 5 game series. With veteran stars such as Yellowstar and Bjergsen, the shot calling edge can be given to TSM.

However, time and time again CLG has proven that they can perform under pressure. Saturday’s thrilling series against Team Liquid was a great test of fortitude for the rookie CLG members and it showed that CLG can execute when it matters most.

CLG and TSM are aiming to secure their place at the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational which will be in Shanghai, China. Both teams would love the opportunity to test their skills in international competition, but would be a whole new devil in itself.
