Ronda Rousey And Bethe Correia Out For More Than Belt

July 31, 2015

If you haven’t paid attention to the buildup to UFC 190, undefeated Ronda Rousey versus undefeated Bethe Correia this Saturday for the bantamweight belt, then you’ve missed a lot of sharp words and bad blood. Things got personal when Ronda’s book came out and Bethe made some off color comments, even speaking about suicide, the sad fate that Ronda’s father succumbed to. Bethe claims she didn’t know, Ronda doesn’t care, and they’re both out for blood.

As Bethe beat two out of three of Ronda’s teammates, she knew that the message was sent. She wanted Ronda and nothing was going to stop her from bringing that belt back to Brazil. She is in unbelievable shape and is focused on only one thing.

The problem is she has to face Ronda Rousey on Saturday and not only is Ronda the toughest athlete in the world, male or female, as voted by Sports Illustrated, but she’s out for vengeance. Ronda has said repeatedly that she will not try to beat Bethe quickly like most of her other wins, but will hurt her and beat her up in her hometown.

This fight definitely has the hype, but can Correia actually put up a fight against Rousey? Only time will tell this Saturday live from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
