The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale Preview

December 9, 2015

The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale is the second show of the week on Friday as we escalate towards UFC 194, Jose Aldo versus Conor McGregor. It takes place at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and contains a main event not to sleep on.

Frankie Edgar has a chip on his shoulder. He doesn’t like that Conor McGregor leapt over him to get a title shot. Chad Mendes may have a good argument that he could have beaten McGregor if he had a full fight camp. These two will fight it out in the Octagon to see who most likely will be next in line to fight the winner of Aldo/McGregor. Do not miss this one.

Lightweights Edson Barboza and Tony Ferguson do battle in the co-main event. Both are high ranked in the division and this fight should propel one of them one step closer to the elite.

The Joe Lauzon show continues on this card and an amazing finish may be in our future when he takes on Evan Dunham in the grizzled veterans portion of the show. Lauzon is a bonus magnet so expect the best.

Best of the rest:

Welterweight: Ryan LaFlare vs. Mike Pierce

Featherweight: Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Jason Knight

Flyweight: Joby Sanchez vs. Geane Herrera

Heavyweight: Konstantin Erokhin vs. Gabriel Gonzaga

You can catch the main card starting at 10pm ET on Fox Sports 1.
