Today was the long-awaited unveiling of the product that Reebok created in their sponsorship with the UFC. The UFC unveiled fight kits (uniforms) for a plethora of fighters including Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor, Anthony Pettis, Fabricio Werdum, Johny Hendricks, Miesha Tate, Rory MacDonald, Paige VanZant, and Cain Velasquez. The UFC uniform set is divided into three kits: Country, Universal, and Championship. The Champion kit has a gold emblem on the side of the jersey to signify championship status. Other kits have the respective fighter's home country flag embedded on the side of the jersey. The kit has five key features: Strength, Speed, Comfort, Flexibility, and Pride. The innovation displayed by the creation of this kit signifies the UFC's rise in relevance in today's sports realm. The kit will debut for the first time at UFC 189: Aldo vs McGregor on the 11th of July.

The UFC fight kit includes double welded seam sealing construction built to last and reduce abrasion. The uniforms are light, built for weight reduction and streamlining. Thanks to PlayDry moisture management technology, the uniforms, likely to be dampened by sweat, are capable of drying much quicker by removing moisture away from the body. Thus, fighters no longer have to fret about maintaining optimal body temperature in the most intense stages of the fight. Fighters wearing the uniforms will recognize it’s 360 degree multi-directional stretch fabric and laser cut side vents for functional mobility. Further, anti-slipping technology ensures form fitting for every fighter position. In layman’s terms, for those of you who are not familiar with all of this tech “jargon”, the uniforms produced by Reebok breathe a refreshing air into the lungs of UFC fans worldwide, finally giving the UFC something to hang their hats on.

Moreover, the UFC fight kit is not exclusive to jerseys. The kit includes the official UFC walkout jersey, various performance shirts for women, the Octagon “skort”, the assorted variations of the Octagon short, and the walkout hooded sweatshirt. The introduction of these uniforms marks a pivotal point in the UFC’s timeline.
