Fighting at home was all the motivation that Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone needed to overcome some vicious punches against Melvin Guillard, and recover quick enough to provide a world-class knockout in front of his friends and family.  In what quickly became an epic night for VFD Sports, both Cowboy and Erik "Goyito" Perez provided the best knockouts of the evening to make the Denver event a memorable one.

Appearing in just his second UFC fight, Perez set a bantamweight record for fastest knockout, as he floored Ken Stone in just 17 seconds.  While on most other nights, the Knockout of the Night honor would be all but wrapped up, Cowboy swooped in during the co-main event and not only took the KOTN award, but also the Fight of the Night award and his one-round showdown with Guillard was non-stop fireworks and easily had the Pepsi Center at its loudest.

The wins help propel both fighters up their respective weight classes and also reaffirm Cerrone and Perez's standings as crowd-favorites with KO power.  Big things will be happening for both of these UFC stars, so keep with VFD Sports for more access and interviews with them.
