In a sign that MMA tranining is going to the cloud, Training Mask, a long-time MMA athlete sponsor is utilizing start-up crowdfunding company Fundable to help raise money for the next incarnation of it's popular athletic training device.

Using the Fundable system, supporters of the product can make monetary pledges to help get it into production quicker, and depending on the donation, can receive the item first.  To date, Fundable has helped raise over $4,000 of the $10,000 goal with hopes that the high altitude training simulator can get into the hands of athletes quicker.

While Training Mask is currently the only MMA-targeted product on Fundable's site, it could usher in a new way for MMA startups to gain funding. If your idea is that good, take it to Fundable and let the people decide if they want to contribute to make it happen.
