Gatorade Joins VFD Marketing Family, Sponsors Jon Jones at UFC 165

With Nike already being on board as one of Jon Jones’ sponsors, VFD Sports Marketing in conjunction with First Round Management are proud to announce that “Bones” will also represent Gatorade at this weekend’s UFC 165 main event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Jones will square off with Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson, looking to continue his record-breaking reign as the UFC Light Heavyweight champion.

Introduced in 1965, Gatorade is one of the world’s most powerful brands, with an estimated worth of around $4.8 billion. Gatorade is the official sports drink of the NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NHL, and other professional and collegiate athletic organizations.

Over the years, the company has sponsored some of the world’s leading stars, such as Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and Sidney Crosby, which only emphasizes Jon Jones’ global value.
