Miesha Tate Looks for Revenge Against Champion Ronda Rousey

Fans worldwide are gearing up for Saturday, December 28th with UFC 168: Weidman vs. SIlva 2. With matchups like Travis "Hapa" Browne vs. Josh Barnett, Silva vs. Weidman and Tate vs Rousey, this event will be nothing shy of legendary.  Inside the Octagon at The MGM Grand Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Miesha "Cupcake" Tate will look for her revenge against Rousey in a much awaited rematch following the finale of The Ultimate Fighter’s 18th season in which both UFC fighters were coaches on the show.

 

The 27 year old Tacoma, Washington native is not only one of the most revered athletes in the MMA community but also considered a pioneer in women’s MMA, paving the way for young, up-and-coming women looking to fight in the UFC.  Now, she will look to extend her impressive 13-4-4 winning fight record against the undefeated champion, Ronda Rousey.

 

There are a lot of rumors surrounding this fight adding fuel to the fire that will be this epic rematch. It is no secret that Tate and Rousey resent  each other with disputes ranging from social media battles to even rumors regarding Tate’s boyfriend. The two will battle it out this Saturday live on Pay Per View and Fox Sports 1.
