MusclePharm to Sponsor 4 Fighters at UFC 169

The UFC is without question, the most exciting professional sports league in existence today.  With no seasonality, millions of fans worldwide get to witness epic bouts all year, and 169 will be no exception.  Taking place at the Prudential Center tomorrow night in Newark, New Jersey, UFC 169 features a fight card that is absolutely stacked. Bantamweight Title Fight Urijah “The California Kid” Faber vs. current champion Renan “The Baron” Barao, Featherweight Title Fight Ricardo “The Bully” Lamas vs. champion Jose “Junior” Aldo and UFC legend Frank Mir vs. Alistair Overeem are just some of the epic bouts set to take place tomorrow.  As the fastest growing sport in the world, many corporations have taken notice of the direction in which the UFC is heading and are getting in on the action.

Next to fight during the prelim rounds in MusclePharm sponsored UFC Fighter Nick “The Jersey Devil” Catone. Catone is fighting on his home turf and is determined to earn his 10th win against opponent Tom Watson. Catone, the 32 year old middleweight Jersey native weighs 173 lbs and is fighting against a formidable opponent, Tom Watson.

 

First to fight on the main card airing on Pay Per View for MusclePharm is Abel “Killa” Trujillo. Trujillo faces Jaime Varner as he looks to extend his 11-5 winning record against Varner tomorrow night.  The Des Moines, Iowa native is associated with Blackzilians and is an absolute powerhouse in the Octagon.  


The fourth and final fighter for MusclePharm is Ali “Puncher King” Bagautinov. Hailing all the way from Moscow, Bagautinov is on a mission: to win. Having won his last ten fights with 5 of those won by TKO, he is a force in the Octagon.  He will be facing John “Hands of Stone” Lineker and plans on extending his impressive 12-2 record to 13 tomorrow.
