Ronda Rousey Is The “World’s Most Dominant Athlete”

June 19, 2015

When you finish every fight in the first round besides one, most dominant athlete is not a stretch. Ronda Rousey is on the cover of the Sports Illustrated May 13 issue being touted as the “world’s most dominant athlete”. Her memoir, “My Fight/Your Fight” was released Tuesday as well.

Rousey has had a lot to say on her press tour promoting the cover and her book ranging from Miesha Tate to any and all questions and controversial topics. Beth Correia, the Brazilian bantamweight who will meet Rousey at UFC 190 had some choice words for her, including that Rousey shouldn’t do drugs after she beats her. Rousey spoke about drug issues in the past in her memoir.

It doesn’t seem like a good idea to try and rattle the world’s most dominant athlete. Adding more fuel to her fire is not the ideal strategy. Ronda on the other side seems to have nothing to hide, showing what it took for her to get where she is.

She has a brutal honesty about her that rubs people the wrong way. However, she stands at the top of the fight game, and Hollywood has its eyes on her as well, starring in “Fast 7” and “Entourage”.

VFD connects brands with top athletes in all sports and Ronda Rousey is that top athlete. When it comes to the fight game, there’s no one better. With her drive, watch her make her way into other arenas and conquer those as well.
