Welcome back to the latest edition of the VFD Sports Weekly Chirp for the week of November 26-December 2.  Plenty of action to recap so let’s not waste any more time!

Bart ‘Bartimus’ Palaszewski reminds us all via twitter to not volunteer to drive your friends to the airport until they tell you what time they need you.  Ouch!

This article by Fast Company does a great job detailing the business side of the UFC and features an awesome picture of VFD Sports athlete Erik ‘Goyito’ Perez.

Here is a great photo tweeted by Leonard ‘Bad Boy’ Garcia training hard with actor Michael Peña at Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA.

Check out the best pictures of Edson Barboza Jr.’s fights that he posted on his website.  Great photos!  Also, voting for the Fighter’s Only MMA Awards is still open.  Please vote for Jr.’s spinning wheel kick KO as Best KO of the Year.  Vote here!

‘Cowboy’ Donald Cerrone tweets this instructional intro to striking video.  Give it a watch, very interesting.  Cowboy can be seen here living his nickname atop this beautiful horse.  Cerrone also posted the second installment of the “Countdown to Pettis” video series that can be viewed here.

Clay ‘The Carpenter’ Guida posted this blast from the past photo from 2002.  The Carpenter also posted this photo enjoying great food from La Scarola in Chicago.  Speaking of Chicago, read this article from MMAjunkie about Guida’s return to his hometown of Chicago to fight for the first time in years.

This past week VFD Sports launched their official LinkedIn page.  Be sure to give us a follow!

Newest VFD Sports athlete Landon Vannata posted this quote about dedication and hard work.  Couldn’t agree more!

Make sure to get VFD Sports athlete Nate Diaz’s walkout gear as he takes on Benson Henderson for the lightweight title this Saturday night on UFC on FOX 5 in Seattle.

This is a great photo with VFD Sports exclusive sponsor MusclePharm President Cory Gregory with Bart Palaszewski and Travis Browne.

Make sure to cheer on Nate Diaz this Saturday night and leave your predictions in the comment box below.  How is this fight going to go down?  Also, be sure to follow VFD Sports on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and now LinkedIn.
