Welcome to the latest edition of VFD Sports’ Weekly Chirp, recapping the past weeks tweets, photos and video updates from your favorite VFD Sports athletes.  It was a busy week last week so let’s get to it:

Edson Barboza Jr. posts this video from his website discussing his future and thanking his fans for their support.

Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone stars in this video as he and Mike Pyle go through MMA sparring and training with PBR (Pro Bull Riders not Pabst Blue Ribbon).

Check out this article on, in which Coach Mike Winkeljohn discusses Jon Jones’ striking ability.

Have a look at this photo of Leonard ‘Bad Boy’ Garcia in between training sessions at the ranch.

Erik ‘Goyito’ Perez is shown here doing interviews with Univision.  Perez proudly represents his home country of Mexico as he is the only Mexican born fighter in the UFC.  Perez will square off with Byron Bloodworth in December at UFC 155 in Las Vegas.

Bart ‘Bartimus’ Palaszewski has a battle with himself to decide whether or not to part ways with a piece of his past.

Watch this video of Diego ‘BoOM’ Brandao as he wishes Coach Mike Winkeljohn a happy birthday among other things.  Translation?  Brandao also tweeted at UFC President Dana White that he is ready to fight anyone as soon as possible. BoOM!

Travis ‘Hapa’ Browne stopped to fill up at a gas station and showed appreciation to his fans by posing for this picture he tweeted.  Big Papa Hapa is also looking to start watching scary movies this Halloween season via this tweet.  Leave your scary movie suggestions for Hapa on his official verified Facebook fan page!

Speaking of Halloween, can you guess who Clay ‘The Carpenter’ Guida dressed up as this past weekend?  Make your guess on Clay’s official verified Facebook fan page!

REMEMBER anyone that dresses up as a VFD Sports athlete, please email a photo to [email protected] as you may win the autograph of the athlete you dressed up as!

Also, please be sure to post the photo to VFD Sports’ Facebook page, tweet it at us (@VFDSports) and post it/tweet it at the athlete you dressed up as!  However, if you want to win the autograph, please email the photo to [email protected]

Have a safe Halloween from all of us at VFD Sports and tune in next week to see who won the Halloween contest!
