TRIO OF BRAZILIANS READY FOR UFC 146

May 23, 2012

With the spectacle that is UFC 146 soon approaching, VFD Sports has three top Brazilian fighters ready for battle this Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Beginning on the FX portion of the broadcast, lightweight phenom Edson Barboza is matched up with Evan Dunham as Barboza looks to keep his professional record squeeky clean.  Barboza is a physical specimen and workout warrior, so it's only fitting that he will be sponsored by MusclePharm.

While Barboza is one of the most feared strikers in the lightweight division, there is another warrior in the featherweight division who is looking to begin his run towards a title.  Diego Brandao, the newest member of VFD Sports is looking to build on the momentum gained after winning last season's The Ultimate Fighter.  Brandao is a jack of all trades, known for his passion to win and will be up against Darren Elkins.

When the all-heavyweight pay-per-view portion of the fights begin, VFD Sports fighter Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva will be making his UFC debut in the co-main event as he battles former champ Cain Velasquez.  While this matchup is a tough one, Silva will draw on his vast pro experience, including a successful stint in Strikeforce.

All in all, it will be a great night for VFD Sports to celebrate three of its Brazilian warriors, as big sponsors such as MusclePharm, SafeAuto, Bodybuilding.com, Red Nose, Bony Acai, and Kaiwaa will all be there in support.
