Also on the card, VFD Marketing athlete Tyron Woodley takes on the former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Jake Shields in a bout that will be aired LIVE on FX.

Winnipeg, Manitoba, is expected to quickly become a valuable market for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, thanks to the huge impact of the live event experience.

Hereby are quick predictions for UFC 161:

Dan Henderson vs. Rashad Evans

Hendo’s experience will be the key factor in this fight. It seems as Dan Henderson is simply more durable than Rashad Evans, which will serve him well when this fight hits its high points. Dan Henderson via Decision.

Roy Nelson vs. Stipe Miocic

Big Country Nelson is freakishly strong and should not be underestimated. Miocic disappointed against Stefan Struve, who was once viciously knocked out by Nelson. Big Country via 2nd Round TKO.

Tyron Woodley vs. Jake Shields

T-Wood’s wrestling is expected to nullify Jake Shields’ exceptional grappling skills. In stand-up, Woodley is by far more dangerous than Jake Shields. T-Wood via TKO in Round 3.
