Oct 29th Las Vegas Nevada, VF ELITE Sports Agency had two fighters on the UFC 137 card broadcast live on spike TV.  Making his debut in the Octagon Bart Palaszewski was hoping to make a big impression on the UFC brass with a big win.  Cowboy Cerrone has been on a hot streak recently competing and winning in a very entertaining fashion.  He accepted to step in for Sam Stout at what some considered short notice but Cowboy said “ its not short notice to me 8 weeks is plenty of time to get ready for a fight”.  Both VF Elite Sports Agency fighters were well prepared for their matches, winning both of their fights in the 1st round with devastating fashion.

Dropping from 155 to 145 you would have expected it would be Bart that had a tough time making weight, but in an unexpected twist it was Tyson Griffin that had weight issues.  Bart had no problem with Tyson missing his contracted weight, because it meant now he would receive %25 of Tyson’s purse.  The fight itself was much shorter then the expected war with Bart dominating Tyson on the feet and earning a quick KO in the 1st round.  The 1st round KO earned Bart a home with the UFC as well as a $75,000 bonus for KO of the night.  Commenting on his win Bart said “ It was so emotional for me, after I won all I could think of is my daughter at home was watching, I was so happy”.

The other VF Elite Sports Agency fighter on the UFC 137 card was Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone from Greg Jacksons MMA Academy in Albuquerque New Mexico.  Cowboy has been on a bit of a hot streak as of lately, winning every fight in he UFC he has taken.  The young fighter did not disappoint as he steam rolled Denis Siver with Kicks and punches.  After landing some heavy strikes Cowboy eventually took Siver’s back, and ended the fight with a quick rear naked choke for a fast 1st round victory.   Cowboy made no claim for the title shot saying “ I need to keep working keep training and get my mind right”.

It was a great night for the VF Elite Sports Agency team with a 2-0 showing on the night’s event.  Both VF Elite fighters won in the 1st round, and both scored a take home bonus.  The next VF Elite fighter up will be Clay Guida who will take on Ben Henderson on UFC on Fox Nov 12th in Anaheim Ca.
