VFD Marketing Sports presents: NBA finals preview

June 19, 2015

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors will tip off Thursday night and start their much-anticipated series. There are many questions going into this upcoming battle and we’re here to break three of them down.

Is LeBron James enough to derail the Warriors?

Logic says no, however, logic doesn’t always apply to athletes like LeBron James. Without Kevin Love and an ailing Kyrie Irving, more is put on the shoulders of James and his supporting cast. On paper, the Warriors look much better than the Cavs, but there’s a good chance LeBron has something big to say about that.

How will Golden State handle the spotlight?

It’s not easy going into a Finals series as a young favorite. The Warriors don’t have much experience on this stage, but their coach Steve Kerr knows what it’s like. Nothing compares to finals pressure and there will definitely be an adjustment period.

Can the Cavs stop the Warriors high-octane attack?

The Cavs defense has looked invincible in their first three series’, but the Warriors are a totally different beast due to their depth. The Cavs will definitely have their hands full and may have a hard time guarding Steph Curry, Klay Thomspon, et al.

VFD connects brands with top athletes across all sports. The NBA Finals are a showcase for many companies, who will put out their best advertising efforts for a huge television audience. Game 1 is on June 4 at 9pm ET on ABC.
