Travis Browne’s Recovery From Injury Ahead of Schedule

August 25, 2014

After breaking his left hand punching Fabricio Werdum in their fight this past April in Orlando, sports marketing agency VFD Marketing’s client Travis Browne is ahead of schedule in the healing and rehabilitation process for his surgically corrected hand. “It’s never easy to sit back and be patient when it comes to these things,” said Browne. “A fighter’s instinct is to keep fighting, but as you become more mature, you understand that there are some things out of your control, and you can’t let them stress you out.”

Travis is still ranked #3 heavyweight in the UFC, and has his eye on Cain Velasquez and the title. “I’m ready to get going again in my title quest. I realize it’s going to take a few wins, but I’ll be back there. My hand’s feeling great and my body bounced back very well after that fight. I can’t wait to get back into the Octagon, and I’d like to thank my fans for all their support and well wishes,” continued Browne.

As Browne’s UFC management company, VFD Marketing prides itself on taking care of their fighters. “We’re excited that Travis is ahead of schedule, and getting closer to pursuing his goals in the Octagon. Our number one concern is for him to feel better. He’s a huge draw, and we can’t wait to get him fighting again,” said John Fosco, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VFD. “Expect to see Travis back before you know it, and better than ever.”
